Help your child thrive.
Whatever your child’s needs are,
Alissa Hughes SLP LLC not only has it all,
but waitlists and confusing pricing models are not acceptable here.
“When you are searching for the right fit- for any therapist- but especially for communication, which is essential for ‘nonverbal’ kiddos, you want to find someone like Alissa. She is not only a speech language pathologist, but she is a mother to a kiddo with a rare disease too. She understands the busy schedules and difficulties we have as parents. She takes therapy to an entirely different level with her comprehensive skillset as both a professional and a mother. When it is a decision about your kiddo, you want the best and Alissa is just that!”

My Therapy Services
Email answers (with phone consultation)
Accessing therapy for your child should not be a difficult process, but unfortunately it is. This is an opportunity for you to ask 3 straightforward questions about development (in general, feeding, speech/language, stuttering, reading, AAC, medically complexities, ANYTHING) and get straightforward answers from an expert. Once you receive your answers, a 15-minute phone consultation is provided to clarify information and help direct you to resources in our community.
No appointment needed, simply email your questions.

Ongoing therapy services
Once the evaluation is completed and you have a plan, you choose how therapy works best for your family. Weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly in-person sessions are available with Alissa in Carmel and Westfield. Teletherapy is an option as needed for families that are out of town or too far to meet weekly. Group therapy and purposeful play class options are also functional options to work on social skills and cooperative play.
I want families to get what they need when they need it, so if you need a closer SLP for ongoing services, we will find one for you!
